For Your Patients
Article on Asthma and Adolescents
Managing asthma in adolescents may be challenging due to hormonal changes, increased physical activity and shifting social dynamics. A new article in the patient’s library will help adolescents gain the confidence to manage asthma independently, so they can continue to do all the activities they enjoy. The article is available in English and Spanish.
Share the Anaphylaxis Interactive Learning Guide with Patients
The AAAAI has developed a web-based audio-visual anaphylaxis recognition-and-response tool, which evaluates the user’s ability to recognize and respond to anaphylactic emergencies as presented in proposed scenarios. These common presentations of anaphylaxis include pre-hospital/pre-Emergency Medical Services, community-based scenarios in children and adults. Share the tool with your patients and their caregivers when you provide anaphylaxis education.
