The AAAAI’s Clinical Rotation Curriculum Has Been Updated
Clinical_Rotation_Curriculum.jpg
The AAAAI’s Clinical Rotation Curriculum (CRC) allows community-based allergists to offer a comprehensive A/I elective to medical students, residents, and FITS who attend institutions that may not offer traditional A/I programs.
“The CRC is a robust educational resource for medical trainees and allied health professionals and their mentors. It provides standardized content on common clinical conditions seen in allergy and immunology practice,” said Sindhura Bandi, MD, FAAAAI, one of the faculty members of the CRC.
Newly updated in 2023, you’ll have open access to all materials which include both PDF and video resources. The content is divided into core learning and additional learning materials. Learn more about it here.
Thank You to the COVID-19 Response Task Force

May 11 marked the end of the COVID-19 Public Health Emergency, and with it, the sunsetting of the AAAAI COVID-19 Response Task Force. The final official message from the task force was sent May 15.
Past President Mary Beth Fasano, MD, FAAAAI, established the task force in March 2020. The group of dedicated volunteers were led by AAAAI President-Elect Paul V. Williams, MD, FAAAAI. For years this group monitored the impact of COVID-19 on the A/I specialty and its patients, developed resources, kept AAAAI members updated and worked with Hart Health so the A/I perspective was heard at the state and federal level. Thank you Paul Williams, Mitch Grayson, Dave Stukus, Mary Beth Fasano, Frank Virant, Sharon Markovics, Andrew Murphy, Priya Bansal, Jim Sussman, Karen Gregory and Tom Fleisher for dedicating so much time to keeping everyone informed.
While the messages from the task force have stopped, the AAAAI will continue to provide up-to-date information and resources through the COVID-19 Resources page and other communications. Learn more about the work of the task force in Episode 90 of "Conversations from the World of Allergy".
